Food Services at the benefit of US Air Force

In June 2018, GCC Services were awarded a contract including the labour supply required to ensure food production, food service, cleaning of the facilities, assistance to the maintenance of the kitchen equipment and duct hoods and cleaning in three different dining facilities on base.

We were requested to mobilise this contract requiring over 100 staff in less than 60 days.  Less than 60 days to recruit, mobilise, train, vaccinate and get both UAE and US military clearance for more than 100 personnel.

Given the extreme urgency, GCC Services quickly diagnosed the potential reasons for failure and accordingly planned a line of actions driven towards success.

One of them was to mobilise a large amount of resources from our management team, UAE operations and worldwide contracts to assign them to the mobilisation of this project, full time.

Another key success of this mobilisation was the constant monitoring of our management on the procedure which allowed us to work in compliance with all US Air Force requirements (Fair labour practice, medical certificate, vaccination, trainings…). Finally, the risk assessments done during our diagnostic phase led to us to have contingency plans ready for all main mobilisation tasks.
